Sports Premium
At Crosshall Junior School, we recognise the importance of physical education to the health and well-being of our children.
Our Sports Premium Funding enables us to provide and extend our PE provision in various ways, such as: through hiring of specialist PE teachers or qualified sport coaches to run sports sessions; running sports competitions and participate in the school games; run an increased range of extra-curricular sporting clubs, and also provide further professional development for our staff in physical education.
Our Sports Lead is: Miss Cara Howell

Swimming
Before pupils leave Crosshall Junior School, they have opportunity to attend swimming lessons at our local sports leisure centre, One Leisure St Neots. The lessons aim to ensure pupils can:
- swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres
- use a range of strokes effectively
- perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations
