Celebration Awards

Each half-term one child from each class is chosen for this prestigious award. 

Celebration 1 - awarded for showing leadership skills & independence

Celebration 2 - awarded for excellent work in history, geography & World Views

Celebration 3 - awarded for progress in English, maths or science

Celebration 4 - awarded for confidence in wide range of technology

Celebration 5 - awarded for achievements in art curriculum

Celebration 6 - awarded for excellent progress in sports

Celebration 7 - is for Upper School achievements

Celebration 8 - awarded for excellent achievement throughout the year, high standard of work

House Points

At Crosshall Junior School all pupils are placed in Houses: Belfast, Cardiff, Edinburgh and London.

Praise Postcards

Staff recognise progress or attainment by posting Praise Postcards to students.

Headteacher's Awards

Headteacher Awards are given in recognition of overcoming obstacles with resilience, having ambition or showing kindness. They also recognise individual effort or achievements.

A congratulatory text message is sent to parents and meets with the student to award him/her with this great honour.

Future Me Awards

Future Me Awards are achieved as part of our unique Future Me programme.  Students earn Bronze, Silver and then finally Gold Future Me Award as they progress through the programme during each year group. In Year Six, students who achieve Gold Future Me become Crosshall Junior School Ambassadors.  Year Six, students who has achieve Gold Future Me for each year they have been at Crosshall Junior School also receive a certificate recognising Four Years Of Gold Future Me.
