Professionally, I am a certified chartered accountant (ACCA) and trained initially in practice, where I enjoyed visiting a variety of different companies (manufacturing, childcare, plant hire, to name a few) and building up a vast financial skillset based on how differently they all operate.  I then moved to the construction industry as a Management Accountant and I now work as a Commercial Finance Business Partner, where I aid the management board with financial modelling and keeping them on track to meet the business objectives.
