COVID-19

Guidance - April 2022

Children and young people who are unwell and have a high temperature should stay at home and avoid contact with other people. They can go back to school when they no longer have a high temperature, and they are well enough to attend.

Children under the age of 18 with a positive COVID-19 test result should try to stay at home and avoid contact with other people for 3 days, which is when they are most infectious, and only return to school when they no longer have a temperature and are well enough to attend after the 3 days.

In addition to this we ask that if a child is unwell, they remain at home until fully recovered.
