We have created this timetable to help you with your learning at home over the next few weeks.
Please try your best with each activity; however, if a website doesn’t load or there is something you don’t understand, please don’t worry! For example, if a maths task is something you find a bit tricky you can always go into the maths folder and play a maths game instead. You could keep a little reminder in the back of your book of activities you found hard / questions you have (we can then discuss them later). The activities are linked to topics we would have been covering in school / a re-cap of learning so far.
Remember you can also email us with any questions; we will check our emails everyday. We have also put some links with games etc… in each topic folder. Keep looking in them as they will get updated.
Home Learning is set on a Thursday and due the following Tuesday. The tasks will be set on Google Classroom.
Generally these tasks will be: Times Tables Rockstars/MyMaths, spelling and reading. Students will only bring home reading books and spelling logs. Please encourage your child to access Google Classroom to complete the tasks every week.
MARKING AND FEEDBACK
The children should be attaching their work for the teacher to mark in the format of a Google Document, Google Slide, PDF or a picture. If the children complete their work in their activity book, they are encouraged to take a picture of only their work and upload it to inform their teacher of their learning. The teacher then makes a comment under the student work tab if appropriate. The children are encouraged to comment and ask questions appropriately on the main stream.
The children are encouraged to access Google Classroom independently. However, we understand that some might struggle with technology or the activity that has been set. If you have any questions, comments or concerns, please contact the Year Three team via the office e-mail - firstname.lastname@example.org. We are always ready to help.
