Crosshall Junior School is continually updating and adding to its rich educational and community awards.
Crosshall Junior School has achieved the Gold School Games Mark award for commitment, engagement and delivery of competitive school sport in 2017/2018. In December 2017, due to our excellent work regarding assessment practices, Crosshall Junior has been recognised as a Centre of Assessment Excellence.
As a result we have had worked published and been invited to speak at conferences. This year, we will act an assessment hub for this region and will work with national experts.
In 2017, the school was awarded IQM Centre of Excellence status. This status highlights our inclusive practice, and our ability to meet the social, emotional and mental health neeeds of our pupils.
The Inclusion Quality Mark was awarded at the end of 2015/2016 academic year. It recognises that CJS is a fully inclusive school (ensuring equality for all- Special Educational Needs and Disabilities, Cultural, Ethnic and Racial Differences).
In May 2018, the school was recognised as ‘Good’ by OFSTED
