Many years ago, Dr Paul Fox used to work for the British Government. It was a boring role really but he likes to phrase it like that as he thinks it makes him sound like James Bond!
As well as a Civil Servant, he has variously been a NHS clinical biochemist, a research scientist and a teacher. Dr Fox is now semi-retired and so can tell you what time in the afternoon The Sweeney is on ITV4!
He plays the ukulele badly and likes walking and football. Though not necessarily all at the same time!
Paul’s association with Crosshall Junior School began as a volunteer. One day, when he seemingly wasn’t paying attention, he agreed to become a governor. However, he has found it strangely satisfying to participate in and (hopefully) contribute to an environment where the principles of continuous improvement and the delivery of a quality, well-rounded education are shared by staff and governors alike.
Paul is a link governor for Year 5 and has a particular interest in the teaching of science.
